Mary E. (Gibson) Kleiman

Mary E. (Gibson) Kleiman, 92, of Evansville , went to be with her Lord Wednesday, September 8, 2004 , at Deaconess Hospital. Mary was born on August 10, 1912 , on a farm in Posey County . She graduated from Bosse High School in 1929. She enjoyed flowers and gardening. During World War II, Mary worked at Chrysler. She was a cook for Mackey High School and took care of the flowers and the cooking at SWIRCA. She was a manager at REM X Office Machines. Mary was a member of Buckskin Ladies Sewing Circle and St. John 's U.C.C in Buckskin, Ind.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Luther W. Kleiman, whom she married June 17, 1930 , a son, Malcolm D. Kleiman, granddaughter, Connie Davis, and son-in-law, Tom Deken.

She is survived by her son, Dr. Kenneth Kleiman and his fiancee, Donna Cannella of St. Louis, Mo.; daughter, Marilyn Wright and her husband, Bill; daughter, Ruby Deken of Evansville; grandchildren, Kenneth Kleiman Jr. and his wife, Sheila, Cindy Lacueva of St. Louis, Mo., Debra Ray and her husband, Kenton of Indianapolis, Ind., Kathy Ohlrogge of Whiteland, Ind., Kimberly Sue Peterson and Rob Hammel and his wife, Ronna of Wichita, Kan.; great-grandchildren, Kenneth W. Kleiman III, Sohnya Kleiman, Jennifer Zatorski, all of St. Louis, Mo., Michael Ray, Kristina Davis and Katie Davis, all of Indianapolis, Katherine Davis of Evansville, Cody Hammel and Katie Hammel of Wichita, Kan.; great-great-grandchildren, Jade and Sydney Ray, both of Indianapolis, Ind.; brother, Leland E. Gibson of Evansville; and many caring nieces and nephews.

Mary enjoyed caring for her twin great-granddaughters, Katie and Katherine Davis.

Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, September 11, 2004 , at Alexander North Chapel, officiated by Reverend Robert Vester. Burial will be at St. John's U.C.C. Cemetery in Buckskin, Ind. Friends may call 2 to 8 p.m. today, September 10, 2004 , and Saturday from noon until service time at Alexander North Chapel.
