Mary (Weiss) Barnhart, 93, of She attended Mary was an elder at the First Presbyterian Church, a member of the Social Literary Society, the Vanderburgh County Medical Auxiliary and Bible Study Fellowship. She loved playing the violin and enjoyed dark chocolate. Mary was preceded in death by her husband in 1980, Willard Barnhart; son, Don Barnhart in 2003; sister, Kathryn Moore in 1978; and brother, Dr. Louis R. Weiss in 1977. Mary is survived by her daughter-in-law, Diana Barnhart of Tucson, Ariz.; niece, Mary Lou Moore of Orange Beach, Ala.; friend and caregiver, Carlie Knight of Evansville, Ind.; and friend, Sally Giancola of Chicago, Ill. A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday, March 14, 2006, at First Presbyterian Church, officiated by Reverend Wendy McCormick. There will be no visitation at Alexander East Chapel.
