Katherine Elizabeth (Biber) Ross, 98, Mishawaka, Indiana, formerly of Evansville, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at Sunset House.

Katherine Elizabeth, better known as Betty, was born in Evansville, IN, on July 20, 1912 to Katherine “Kate” (Fink) and William Harrison “Harry” Biber, Sr. She graduated from Bosse High School [1930?] and Evansville College. She retired from Crescent Plastics after working both part time and full time for the company. Betty was an active member of Trinity United Methodist Church until she moved to Plymouth, IN, and Mishawaka, IN, to be with family in the early 1990's.

Betty is survived by daughters, Karen (Ronald) Barker of Mishawaka, IN, and Barbara (Philip) Yasson of Vancouver, WA, grandsons, Adam Barker, Andrew Barker, and Gregory Yasson, two great grandchildren and two nephews.

Betty was preceded in death by her grandfather, Lawrence F. Biber, on April 20, 1937, her parents, Harry on March 3, 1958 and Kate on January 27, 1971, her husband of 47 years, Thomas Marshall Ross, Jr. June 07, 1993, and her brother, William Harrison Biber, II on August 20, 1994.

Burial was held in Oak Hill Cemetery.
