Ronald D. Crook, 89, of Evansville , died Friday, August 13, 2004 , at Deaconess Hospice Center .

He graduated from Bosse High School on June 16, 1932 .

Ron and Mary were married for 63 years.

He retired from Sears Roebuck & Co., where he had worked for 29 years as an electronic technician.

Ron was a charter member of Bethel Temple and a member of the Saints Alive Senior Choir. He was also a member of the Princeton Civitan Club, Daylight Masonic Lodge and Evansville York Rite.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary K. Crook; son, Robert K. Crook; and brother, Warren L. Crook.

Ron is survived by his daughter, Marilyn G. Eger and husband, Charles, of Casper , Wyoming ; sister, Thelma Hale of Evansville ; daughter-in-law, Pearl Crook of Evansville; nine grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Services will be 11 a.m. on Tuesday, August 17, 2004 , at Alexander East Chapel, officiated by Reverend R.R. Schwambach, with entombment in Sunset Memorial Park .

Friends may call Monday, August 16, 2004 , from 2 to 7 p.m. , at Alexander East Chapel.
