Mary Olive (Perry) Winters
 

BOONVILLE, Ind. — Mary Olive (Perry) Winters, 94, died December 7, 2008, at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Ind.

Olive was a 50-year member of St. John's United Church of Christ. She was also a member of American Legion Auxiliary. Olive was a graduate of the Bosse High School Class of 1932.

Olive managed and worked at the Boonville Elks Club for at least 40 years. She loved traveling and her family. She was the Matriarch of a large family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Ada Perry, three husbands, Herman "Red" Kaiser, Carl "Buddy" Meyer and Lloyd Winters, and brothers, Walter and John Perry, sisters, Opal Nicholson and Lydia Mae Hart, one daughter, Jane Stamps and six deceased stepchildren.

Olive is survived by her daughter, Sharon Miller Dennis and husband, Ken, of Evansville; sons, Ronnie Kaiser and wife, Lynnette, of Boonville, Ind., and Thomas Meyer and wife, Donna, of Brentwood, Calif.; three stepchildren, Margaret Stephanick (Steve), Judy Mitchell (Tom) and Cindi Fischer (Jim); nine grandchildren, Krista, Kevin and Kent Miller, Tammy Quick, Randy, Craig and Andrew Kaiser, Eric Stamps and Staci Chambers, ten great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Rosella Robertson (Jack), Inez Duncan and Ethel Morris, all of Boonville; and brother, Curran Perry (Joyce) of Rockport, Ind.

The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 11th at Koehler Funeral Home, Boonville Chapel. The Rev. Robert Shofner will be officiating the service. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Boonville. Friends may call Wednesday 3 to 8 p.m. and Thursday 9 a.m. to service time at Koehler Funeral Home-Boonville Chapel.

Memorial contributions in memory of Olive may be made to St. John's United Church of Christ.
