Dora Louise Krug Hess Rawlings Turns 90

Born March 8, 1919, Mrs. Rawlings recently celebrated her 90th birthday. Daughter of John and Perl Krug, she graduated from Bosse High School in 1936. After graduating from Purdue University, she married Lawrence Hess in 1941. They had four children (Jeri, Steve, Sharyl, and Laurel) before he died in 1974. In 1984 she married Superior Court Judge John Rawlings. She taught at Bosse High School from 1955 to 1979 and at the University of Evansville. She earned a MS from Indiana University and began work on a second MS at Purdue University. After her retirement she taught dancercise and continues to teach bridge. She has six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She is a member of Delta Gamma Alumni, Bethel United Church of Christ, and DAR. She would enjoy hearing from former students and friends, in care of her daughter Sharyl Hess-Dawes, 370 Lake Manor Trace, Johns Creek, GA 30022.
