Anna Lillian (Bugher) Hemenway, 92, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away Friday, September 30, 2011 at the Deaconess Hospice Care Center.

Anna Lillian was born in Evansville, Indiana on July 18, 1919 to the late Walter Rexford and Lora Louise (Monahan) Bugher. She graduated from Bosse High School in 1937 and worked for Republic Air Craft during WWII. She married James A. Hemenway on January 20, 1941 in Evansville and was a loving wife, mother and a wonderful homemaker. Anna Lillian loved to garden, talk politics and spend time with her pet poodle "MiMi", but her greatest joy was her son, Keith. She was an active member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Evansville.

Anna Lillian is survived by her son, Keith A. Hemenway of Evansville, IN; and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband; parents; sister, Delores Fehrenkamp; brothers, Forrest Rexford Bugher, and Malcolm Bugher.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave. Evansville, IN 47711 with Father Stephen Lintzenich officiating. Burial will be held at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.

Friends may visit from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at Browning Funeral Home and again on Wednesday from 12:00 noon until service time.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Evansville Rescue Mission, 300 Southeast Martin L King Junior Boulevard, Evansville, IN 47713 or to Little Sisters of the Poor, 1236 Lincoln Avenue, Evansville, IN 47714.
