I was so sad to open the paper this morning and see that Bob had passed away. I worked with Bob for many, many years at Evansville Federal and in that time was privileged to know many sides of him. He was a wonderful, caring man, a professional that went beyond the norm. He always treated everyone with respect and always had a smile on his face. I am so sorry for the family’s' loss and my heartfelt sympathy goes out to Helen. Such a long time to be with the one you love and now to have to spend time without him. He is in Gods' hands now and will be watching over the family. Love to all of you.

Bill & Jill, So sorry to hear of your fathers passing, we are loosing our heroes of WWII so quickly. We had a whole neighborhood full of them where we grew up on Conlin. I will always remember him as a kind and caring man. He opened my first saving account for me at about 10 years old and I still remember standing at the teller’s window like it was yesterday.
