Dear Nana, We only met a handful of times but I feel lucky that we got to celebrate Christmas and other occasions together. I do not know you very well but from what Adriana has told me about you and the relationship you two shared, I believe you inspire her to be the amazing person that she is. In her hardest moments, she rises above and beyond any expectations of her family, school(2 academic awards this year) and most of all, herself. Adriana is an extremely mentally and emotionally strong person. No matter if it’s during the best celebrations or the hardest times, I have never met anyone who has so much love, care and dedication for her family and loved ones. I did not mean to get sidetracked, but I think she gets a lot of that from you. Since we started dating she has always talked to me about you, things you had in common and how much she loves you. In the times we did spend together I remember your great sense of humor and of course those mini pecan pies! Best dessert ever. Rest in Peace Nana,
Love, Jack
