Margaret (Brinkley) Pearson, 87, of Evansville, passed away February 12, 2009, at Cypress Grove Rehabilitation Center in Newburgh.

Margaret was born July 26, 1921, in Sebree, Ky. Margaret retired from the postal service in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was a graduate of Bosse High School (1939).

She loved to play the piano, guitar, violin, and sing. She introduced her children to music and encouraged them with private lessons on instruments of their choice. Margaret also loved to read and spent many hours at the library.

Margaret was preceded in death by one brother, Harold Brinkley.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Barb Hertzberger and Bev Herron (Paul); 2 sons, Bill Pearson and Rick Pearson (Holly); sister, Norma Jones; 2 brothers, Gene Brinkley (Iris) and Bill Brinkley (Bettie); 7 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services 11 a.m. Monday, February 16, 2009, at Tomblinson Funeral Home Sebree Chapel, 57 State Route 370 E. Sebree Ky., the Rev. Art Christmas will officiate. Burial will be held in Onton Cemetery, Onton Ky.
Visitation will be Monday 9 a.m. to service time at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
