Frances E. (Kash) Schnapf, 83, of Evansville , passed away on Wednesday, April 13, 2005 , at St. Mary's Medical Center .  Frances was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church where she was very involved with W.E.L.C.A.  She was a 1939 graduate of Bosse High School and a 22-year member of Welborn Hospital Auxiliary.

Frances is survived by her husband of 59 years, Frederick H. Schnapf of Evansville ; her son, Gilbert K. Schnapf and his wife, Beverly of Evansville; her daughter, Judith Carrell and her husband, Donald of Santa Claus, Indiana; a grandson, Michael D. Schnapf and his wife, Aimee of Eden Prairie, Minnesota; and a great granddaughter, Mia J. Schnapf.  Frances is preceded in death by two sisters, Gladys Dillon and Bonnie Ruff.

Services will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, April 15, at St. Luke Lutheran Church, 4200 Epworth Road , Newburgh , with Reverend Tom Vanselow officiating.  Visitation will be on Thursday, April 14, from 2 to 7 p.m. at Ziemer Funeral Home East Chapel, 800 South Hebron Avenue and continued on Friday, April 15, from 9:30 a.m. until service time at church.Burial will be in Park Lawn Cemetery .
