Newburgh resident Helen L. (Meyer) Wilson died Saturday, April 12, 2003 at her residence at Bell Oaks Terrace. She was 80.

Helen was a 1941 graduate of Bosse High School, a homemaker, who enjoyed sewing and antique collecting. She was a member of Turners Athletic Club and Mrs. AMS and the Womens Optimist Club. Helen was a member of Christ the King Church.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Bob Wilson; Sisters Laura Ann Hambuechen, Margie Solomon, and Mary Lou Barrows, all of Evansville; brother Richard Meyer; Stepson David Wilson of Dunkirk, Ind; Stepdaughter Sara Barr of Evansville; sons Jim Wilson of Owensboro, Ky, and Jeff Wilson of Newburgh; daughter Jean Bickwermert of Clarksville, Ind.; five grandchildren, 11 step-grandchildren and seven step-great-grandchildren

She was preceded in death by her father, Herman Meyer, her Mother, Regina (Schnell) Meyer, and her brothers, Herman Meyer and John Meyer.
