Harold "Ted" Selzer

Harold "Ted" Selzer, 81, of Evansville, Indiana, died Friday, March 18, 2005, at Good Samaritan Home.

Ted graduated from Bosse High School in 1941 and Indiana University School of Business in 1950.

He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II. He retired from the Finance Department of Old National Bank in 1988.

Ted was an Eagle Scout and a past counselor for Junior Achievement. He was a 33rd Degree Mason. Ted participated in jury selection for Vanderburgh County for many years. He was also one of the original volunteers for Thunder on the Ohio.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Wilma (Stofft) Selzer of Evansville; son, Stephen and wife, Linda, Selzer, of Edinburgh, Indiana; grandchildren, Shawn Selzer of Evansville and Nikki Selzer and Brittney Selzer, both of Macon, Missouri; and great-grandchildren, Donovan Hall and Spencer Selzer, both of Evansville.

Services will be 1 p.m. Monday, March 21, 2005, at Alexander Memorial Park Heritage Chapel.Entombment will be in Alexander Memorial Park.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Hadi Shrine Children's Transportation Fund.
