Charles W. Kessler, 83, formerly of Evansville, died at his home in Thomasville, Ga., on August 5, 2010.

He was a 1944 graduate of Bosse High School, attended Rose Poly and graduated from West Point.
He was preceded in death by his son, Rodney; and his brother Louis. Surviving are his wife, Jeannette; daughter, Diane Yatzeck; son, Clint; four grandchildren; sister, Sarah Huber and husband, David.
