Peggy Jane (Williams) Osborne

Peggy Jane (Williams) Osborne, dedicated mother and grandmother, and long-time resident of Lyon Village in Arlington, Va., died Thursday, February 7, 2008, after suffering a massive stroke. Peggy was born February 9, 1926, in LaGrange, Ky. She graduated from Benjamin Bosse High School in Evansville, Indiana, Class of 1944. Peggy later moved to Arlington, Va., where she worked for the Department of the Interior's Geological Survey, then the Federal Highway Administration until she retired. She was an avid walker with the Ballston Common "Mall Walkers."

Peggy is survived by her daughter, Linda Bonner of Ashburn, Va.; son, Chris Osborne and grandchildren, Ashley and Aaron, currently residing in Reno, Nev.; and a sister, Mary Ann Conaway of Las Vegas, Nev.

A graveside service will be held at Valley of Rest Cemetery in LaGrange, Ky., at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, February 12.

Heady Radcliffe of LaGrange is in charge of the arrangements.
