Mildred Ellen (Von Harten) Goeke

Mildred Ellen (Von Harten) Goeke, 82, formerly of Evansville, Indiana, passed away Saturday, December 26, 2009 in Denton, Texas, at her residence.

She was a graduate of Bosse High School [1945] and graduate of Deaconess School of Nursing. Mildred worked at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana as head nurse. She was a member of Emanuel Presbyterian Church in Phoenix, Arizona, and a former member of Tabernacle Presbyterian Church in Indianapolis, Indiana, Mildred was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Mildred is survived by a daughters, Ellen Hunter of Denton, TX, Madalin Eakes and her husband, Jon of Indianapolis, IN, Sons, William Victor Goeke of Denton, TX, Emil E. Goeke II and his wife, Victoria of Indianapolis, IN, Grandchildren, Bert Richardson of Phoenix, AZ, Kady Wilkinson of Justin, TX, Amanda Goeke of Hood River, OR, Matthew Goeke of Atlanta, GA and Mariah Hunter of Denton, TX.

Mildred is preceded in death by her husband Emil Edward Goeke [Wednesday, November 08, 2006 ] of Phoenix, AZ, and her parents, Madalin [Magdelene? August 8, 1952](Crackle [Crackel?]) and William J. Von Harten [February 25, 1983], and a sister, Margaret Von Harten.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, December 30, 2009, at Oak Hill Cemetery Chapel, with Rev. Robert Hunter officiating. Burial in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Friends may visit from 11:30 a.m. until service time on Wednesday, December 30, 2009, at Oak Hill Cemetery Chapel.
