Margaret I. (Gibbs) Jordan, 81, of Evansville, passed away Monday, March 22, 2010, at Deaconess Hospital. She was born February 18, 1929, in Nashville, TN.

She graduated from Bosse High School in 1946 and was owner of Margrett's Beauty Shop. She was a member of St. Paul's UCC - German Township and Eastern Star of Poseyville.

Margaret is survived by her daughter, Linda Jung (Ralph); sons, Gary W. Jordan (Charlene) and Rick D. Jordan (Barbara); brother, Willie "Ray" Gibbs, all of Evansville; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Services will be 10:00 AM Thursday, March 25, 2010, at Alexander West Chapel, officiated by Rev. Daniel Sather with burial in Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
