Tom Brown, 82, of Evansville, passed away at 3:35 pm, Sunday, October 23, 2011 at Transcendent Health Care in Boonville. Tom was born April 17, 1929 in Evansville to Lester R. and Elizabeth (Robertson) Brown. He graduated from Bosse High School in 1947 and served in the Navy Air Corps. Tom managed the Howard Johnsons in Evansville and Henderson and the Flame Lounge in Evansville. Tom owned Industrial Caterers for 15 years. He attended Christian Fellowship Church and was a member of First Presbyterian Church. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Helen; daughter, Kathy Boling of Evansville; son, Kevin Brown (Andrea) of Indianapolis and five grandchildren, Libby Boling, Kierstyn Boling, Mitchell Boling, Tyler Brown and Kelsey Brown. Funeral Services will be held at 1 pm, Thursday, October 27, 2011 at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel - 5330 Washington Avenue, Evansville with Reverend Kevin Fleming officiating. Entombment will be in Park Lawn Mausoleum, where the Vanderburgh County Retired Veterans Club will perform full Military Rites. Friends may call from 4 pm until 7 pm, Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at Boone Funeral Home - East Chapel.
