Marilyn Jean (Mominee) Forshee, 76, died Sunday, December 4, 2005, at Heritage Center in Evansville, Indiana. Marilyn was a member of Central United Methodist Church. She was a graduate of Bosse High School. She raised exotic birds; her favorite was an African Gray named Firecracker. Jean loved dancing, needlework and spending time with her family. Marilyn was a member of the Red Hat Society. She is preceded in death by her father, Reginald Mominee; and mother, Mary Mominee. Marilyn is survived by her husband, Ted Allan Forshee; daughters, Renee Middleton of Evansville, Susan Mayhew of Seattle, Wash., and Melinda Smith of Phoenix, Ariz.; son, Mark Smith of Phoenix, Ariz.; sisters, Nancy Jacobs of California, Linda Nunning of Evansville, Diane Loesch of Cincinnati, Carole Higgs of Darmstadt, Ind., and Anita Felts of Newburgh; 10 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. Services 10 a.m. Wednesday, December 7, 2005, at Alexander West Chapel, officiated by Dr. R.R. Schwambach, burial at Alexander Memorial Park.
