Angela Laverne (Tyring) Holl


Angela Laverne (Tyring) Holl, 79, of Evansville, passed away at Gateway Hospital in Newburgh. She was a 1947 graduate of Bosse High School. Angela was a life member of Zion United Methodist Church. She volunteered as a Pink Lady at Deaconess Hospital. Anyone who knew Angela, knew she was a free spirit and marched to the beat of her own drum. She loved her family and was a wonderful grandmother.

Surviving are her husband of 60 years, Bill Holl, of Evansville; sons, Mike Holl and his wife, Lisa, of Boonville, Ind., and Patrick Holl and his wife, Kathy, of Evansville; brothers, Don Tyring and his wife, Ann, Gene Tyring and his wife, Carolyn, Bill Tyring and his wife, Laura; grandchildren, Tyler Holl and Jordan Holl; and sister-in-law, Rhoda Lance and her husband, Chester, of Evansville.

Angela was preceded in death by her parents, Delta (Albrecht) and Norman Tyring, a brother, Delbert Tyring, and a son, Donald Scott in infancy.

A memorial service will be held at noon Sunday, Aug. 31, 2008, at Zion United Church of Christ, 415 N.W. 5th St., with Rev. John Schroeder officiating. Burial will be held at a later date at Sunset Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Zion United Church of Christ, 415 N.W. 5th Street, Evansville, IN 47708. Browning Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
