Bettye M. (Mueller) Mason, 80, of Newburgh, passed away Tuesday, August 23, 2011, at Newburgh Health Care Center. She was born November 10, 1930, in Evansville, the daughter of August and Helen Mueller.

She attended Bosse High School [1948?] and retired from Lewis Brothers Baker in 1982, where she worked in Accounts Payable as a bookkeeper. She enjoyed bowling, was an avid reader, and loved to travel across the United States.

Bettye is survived by her son, Thomas R. Mason (Becky); grandsons, Andrew (Kathleen), Michael (Sara) and Samuel; and six great-grandchildren.

Private services will be held at a later date.
