Robert W. Brennan, 73, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away at 10:23 a.m. Sunday, December 11, 2005, at Deaconess Hospital. Robert was born January 28, 1932, in Albert Lea, Minnesota, to Bonnie (Calvert) and Richard Brennan Sr. Robert spent his growing up years in Evansville and graduated in 1950 from Bosse High School. Throughout the years, he stayed very involved with his graduating class and the planning of their class reunions. An entrepreneur, he owned and managed rental property in the Evansville area. He also owned the Rocking K Guest Ranch. He previously worked for the Los Angeles Examiner, the Balboa Bay Club and Air California. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and spending time at his cabin in Kentucky. Robert served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps. He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Dene (Daugherty) Brennan of Evansville; a stepdaughter, Gloria Falls of Sellersburg, Ind.; a brother, Richard H. Brennan Jr. of Ormond Beach, Fla.; and a cousin, Pat Martin of Newburgh. Friends and family may visit from 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, December 13, 2005, at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave. Burial will be private. |
