Dale Grant Edwards

Dale Grant Edwards, 68, Jefferson City, died July 7, 2001, at St. Marys Health Center.

He was born Nov. 29, 1932, in Evansville, Ind., a son of Lloyd and Osie Lee Williams Edwards. He was married Jan. 21, 1961, in Burbank, Calif., to Gayle Elaine Penhollow, who survives at the home.

He was a 1950 graduate of Bosse High School, Evansville, and a 1959 graduate of Evansville University.

An Army veteran of the Korean War, he was employed as controller of Dixon-Tyconderoga Incorporated, Versailles. He was a controller with Tel Central, Jefferson City, and was a licensed real estate agent with Coldwell-Banker Real Estate.

He was a member of First Assembly of God Church, Jefferson City.

Other survivors include: one daughter, Ellen Edwards, Jefferson City; and one son, Paul Edwards, Jefferson City.

One son, Phillip Dale Edwards preceded him in death.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at First Assembly of God Church. The Rev. Lowell S. Perkins, the Rev. Van Mitchell, the Rev. Ralph Dodd and the Rev. Greg Bruce will officiate. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at the church.

Memorials are suggested to the Dale Edwards Memorial Fund.

Arrangements are under the direction of Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home.
