Pat was a truly gracious Lady. I was very privileged, on several occasions, as a Eucharist Minister to visit and serve her. I am sure she now has a seat with my wife, Evelyn, in that wonderful kingdom of God.

Ed Schmitt was always my favorite cousin because of his great sense of humor and ability to talk about anything. When he married Pat, I discovered that he had found the perfect spouse who in a much more genteel way also had a great sense of humor and ability to talk about anything. The two of them lived life to the fullest and loved each other very much. She became a favorite cousin whom I will miss very much. Prayers for her and for Edmund.
