MOUNT VERNON , IN — Carolyn A. ( McKinney ) Schneck, age 68, died June 10th, 2004 , at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville , Ind.

Carolyn was born October 7th, 1935 , in Evansville , Ind. , the daughter of Arthur & Leola ( Shelton ) McKinney . She was a 1953 graduate of Bosse High School . She was a corresponding secretary and a member of Tri-Kappa.Carolyn was a member of Oak Hill Presbyterian Church in Evansville . She retired after more than 25 years as an administrative assistant from Mead Johnson.

Survivors are a daughter, Michelle Schneck-Maddix of Columbus, Ind.; a son, Troy W. Schneck of Indianapolis, Ind.; also surviving are two grandchildren, Drake and Delaney Maddix; four sisters, Rayetta Speicher of Boonville, Ind., Linda Lowry and Brenda Wardenburg, both of St. Louis, Mo., and Jean Wagganer of West Beach Palm, Fla.; one brother, Darrell McKinney of Evansville, Ind.; three aunts, Lillian Barclay of Boonville, Ind., Mary Keen of Mt. Washington, Ky., Lorene Kishline of Mt. Vernon, Ind.; one uncle, Herbert Shelton Jr. of Boonville, Ind.; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews, and many friends.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Joe McKinney.

Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. , with a memorial service at 7 p.m. , on Sunday, June 13th, 2004 , at Schneider Funeral Home, 512 Main Street , Mt. Vernon , Ind.
