Edward G. Boyles

 

Edward G. Boyles, 71, of Evansville, died at 10:20 a.m. Thursday, April 26, 2007, at Brentwood Nursing and Rehabilitation.

Edward was born on Nov. 12, 1935, in Detroit to William and Annette Boyles. He was a [1954] Bosse High School graduate and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy having served during the Korean War. Edward retired from Sterling Brewery after 35 years of service. He was a life member of VFW Post 1114 and of Germania Maennerchor.

He is survived by one daughter, Kelly Eubanks, of Evansville; three sons, Kenneth Boyles and his wife, Lea Ann, of Evansville, Kevin Boyles and his wife, Sue, of Evansville, and Kerry Boyles and his wife, Missy, of Evansville; one sister, Aleta Lee, of Newburgh; two brothers, Daryle Boyles of Newburgh and Jerry Boyles and his wife, Nancy, of Newburgh; 11 grandchildren, Kenneth Boyles II, Daniel, Andrew and Adrian Boyles, Kevin Boyles Jr., Michael and Kaeda Boyles, Robbie, Tiffany and Alyssa Eubanks and Kelsey two great-grandchildren, Edward Christian Boyles and Alexander Moorman and one sister-in-law, Margaret Boyles of Evansville.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Bill Boyles and a step father, Carl Holzapfel.

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, April 30, 2007, at Oak Hill Cemetery, with Pastor Thomas Wenig officiating.

There will be no public visitation at Boone Funeral Home — East Chapel, 5330 Washington Ave., Evansville.
