H. Jane (McDonald) Evans

H. "Jane" Evans, 68, passed away on Wednesday, April 19, 2006, at the VNA Charlier Hospice Center in- Evansville.

Jane was born on May 19, 1937, in Sullivan Ind., to Roy and Vivian (Lamb) McDonald. She graduated from Bosse High School in 1955. Jane formerly worked at Lensing Wholesale and was a member of the Delta Chi Sigma Sorority and a 50-year member of the Eastern Star. She was a homemaker and an excellent cook. Jane will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, William Johns.

Mrs. Evans is survived by her husband of 31 years, Wayne Evans of Evansville; daughters, Kimberly (Jeff) Liberman of Evansville, Mary (John) Devine of St. Philips, son, Matthew (Beth) Johns of Evansville; stepdaughters, Candy Gaw of Newburgh, Cathy Patton of Texas.Also twelve grandchildren, Lauren and John Liberman, Jessica and Matthew Jr. Johns, Elizabeth and Andy Cook, JP and Hannah Devine, Paige and Cameron Gaw, Brooke and Destinee Patton.

The family would like to thank the VNA Charlier Hospice Center and Staff and Dr. William Hardesty and staff.

Funeral services will held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 22, 2006, at the Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Meyer Chapel, 100 E. Columbia St., Evansville Ind. 47711, (812) 424-9288, officiated by Chaplain Mel Linville, burial Parklawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. on Friday and from 9 a.m. until service time on Saturday at the Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Meyer Chapel.
