Janice Sue (Rohlfer) Cason

Janice Sue (Rohlfer) Cason, 68, of Evansville, Ind., died Wednesday, August 9, 2006, at her home, in her daughter's arms, after a brave battle with brain cancer.

She attended Culver Grade School and Bosse High School, graduating in 1955. She was a Girl Scout leader for many years and very active in the PTA. She enjoyed traveling, movies, plays, concerts, flower gardening and her family.

Janice co-owned and operated two businesses with her husband, including the Snow White Laundromat. She also had a variety of jobs, including surveyor for the Area Plan Commission, wallpaper specialist at Kares Paint Store and ABC Pet Shop. The job she was proudest of was being a loving and generous wife, mother and friend. She was a kind, giving person and touched the lives of all who knew her. Words cannot express how much she will be missed and how much she was loved.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Anderson "Bud" Rohlfer and Ella Florence Rohlfer; her adoring husband, Gordon Cason, and her grand dogs, Buttons and Girl.

She is survived by her beloved daughter, Candy Cason, who cared for her, and grand dog, Baby.

There is no visitation at the Titzer Family Funeral Homes - Miller & Miller Colonial Chapel.

A private service was held at Oak Hill Cemetery, at her request.

Janice was an avid animal lover. Memorial contributions may be made to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, 5001 Angel Canyon Road, Kanab, Utah 84741, or online@bestfriends.org.
