MOUNT CARMEL, Ill. Robert (Bob) Lee Hall, of Mount Carmel, Ill., was called home by his Heavenly Father on April 30, 2008, at The John and Betty Charlier Hospice (VNA Hospice Service). He was born May 11, 1938, in He married Nancy Lee Culley on September 26, 1959, and unto this union, three children were born. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Emma Bell (Jones) Hall, and son-in-law, William Byron Steele. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Nancy Lee (Culley) of Mount Carmel; three children, daughter, DeAndrea Steele of Mount Carmel and her two sons, Byron Chadwick (Chad) Steele of Urbana, Ill., and Matthew Bailey Steele of Mount Carmel, Ill.; son, Michael James Hall and his wife, Kelly (Craig) of Kokomo, Ind.; son, Christopher James Hall and his wife, Kimberly (Miller) and their children, Alexander James (Alec) and Kristin LeeAnn, of Springfield, Ill.; brother, Scott Alan Hall of Evansville, Ind.; and a niece and several nephews. In October 2006 after serving 44 years he retired from Champion Laboratories Inc. as Product Engineer, Purchased Filter Engineer Manager. He was a member of Society of Automobile Engineers and International Society of Automobile Engineers. He was an active member of Funeral services are planned for 10 a.m. Saturday, May 3, at Short Funeral Home, Friends may visit from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 2, 2008, at Short Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to May 2, 2008 Chris, My deepest sympathy to you and your family.
