Charles and his wife, Annie (Pilgrim), both formerly of
Evansville
, moved to
Florida
in 1984. He retired from the
Lifestream
Behavioral
Center
, Leesburg, in 2004, and most recently had worked part-time in the lab for the Center.
Surviving in addition to his wife are a daughter, Penny Rister, a granddaughter, Jo Lynn Spradley, and a great-granddaughter, Justice Spradley, all of Evansville; as well as a stepdaughter, Beth (Dave) Cartwright, and four step-grandchildren, all of Newburgh. A sister, Sara (David)

, survives, as well as brother- and sister-in-law, Jack and Judy Pilgrim, of
Cincinnati

Ohio
, and several cousins, nieces and nephews, most of
Evansville
.
A Celebration of Life ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 25, at Steverson, Hamlin and Halbrish Funeral Home in Tavares (32788).
A memorial service will be held at The Methodist Temple in
Evansville
at a later date. The family requests that memorial contributions may be made to
St. Paul
's Church Building Fund, Leesburg; a Hospice; or other charity of your choice. |
