Linda L. (Duncan) Norrington, 67, of Evansville, passed away Saturday, April 16, 2011.

She was born June 3, 1943 in Corydon, Kentucky to Sylvester and Gertrude Duncan. She attended Bosse High School [Class of 1961?] and as a teenager she worked at Hamilton's Drive-In. Linda later worked at Shopper's Fair and Kent Plastics. She had several hobbies; shopping, cooking, traveling, reading, and spending time with family and her many friends.

Linda was a member of the Order of Owls and the Eagles.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Sylvester and Gertrude (Stone) Duncan; brother, Charles Duncan; sister, Dorothy Sue O'Bryant.

Linda is survived by her companion of 19 years, Thomas Jackson; daughter, Mrs. Stephanie Downs; son, Christopher Norrington; granddaughter, Amy Jo; great-grandchild, Mariah, all of Evansville; brothers, Phillip, Albert, Johnny, Robert, and Marvin Duncan; sister, Lisa Evans; many nieces and nephews.

Services will be 11:00 AM Thursday, April 21, 2011 at Alexander Memorial Park Heritage Chapel, 2200 Mesker Park Drive, officiated by Father Ted Tempel. Friends may visit from 3:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday, April 20 at Alexander West Chapel, 2100 W. Illinois Street, and from 10:00 AM to service time Thursday at the cemetery chapel.
