Nancy Doris (Montgomery) Morris, 68, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away Thursday, August 25, 2011 at her residence surrounded by her family.

Nancy was born in Evansville, Indiana on April 30, 1943 to the late Walter and Mildred (Gilham) Montgomery.

She graduated from Bosse High School in 1961 and was later employed at Siegel's Uniform Shop. Nancy was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church and also attended Crossroads Church. She was also a longtime member of the VFW Post 1114 Ladies Auxiliary. Nancy enjoyed crafts and going camping. She loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.

Nancy is survived by her husband of 51 years, David Morris Sr. of Evansville, IN, son, David Morris Jr. (Lori) of Elberfeld, IN, daughter, Sherri Peachee (Troy) of Evansville, IN, brother, Randall Montgomery (Donna) of Evansville, IN, grandchildren, Rachel Morris, Allison Morris, Ethan Peachee, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, August 29, 2011 at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Avenue, Evansville, IN 47711 with Pastor Thomas Wenig officiating. Entombment will be held at Park Lawn Cemetery.

Friends may visit from 12:00 PM until 6:00 PM, Sunday, August 28, 2011 at Browning Funeral Home.
