Judith Gail (Palmer) Watts, age 68, a loving mother, and wife, went to be with her Lord and Savior on August 7, 2011.

Judy was born in Evansville, IN, and was a graduate of the University of Kentucky. While in Kentucky, she was very active with the UK Alumni Association, sitting on the national board of directors.

Judy's career as a social worker with the state of Kentucky, The Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse in Gulfport, and at Memorial Hospital Gulfport, filled a need and willingness to help others who were in unfortunate circumstances. She will be sadly missed by those who knew her and loved her.

Judy is survived by her husband of 13 years, Paul Watts; her children, Pam Park of Lexington, KY, and Kevin Park of Chicago, IL; and a brother, Bill Palmer and his wife Carole, of Lexington, KY.

A visitation for family and friends will be held Tuesday, August 9, 2011, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport.
Funeral services and burial will take place in Lexington, KY.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, at stjude.org.

Pam, Kevin and Paul, Charlie and I were so sorry to hear of your loss. She was a wonderful friend. I remember all the good times we had while living in Corbin, Ky. Oh what memories.

Judy had more energy and vitality and always was the first person to offer to help in any way she could. She was always positive and even while she was ill she was still Judy. She was a wonderful person. I felt when she moved back to Kentucky I had lost a good friend. I know I have and wish I could have been more available. I am so sorry for such a void in your lives.
