I had the pleasure of knowing Blaine for many, many years as we both were growing up and finding our ways. I shall never forget his wonderful sense of humor, and his wit. His laugh was infectious in a room full of people. He also was gifted with a strong commitment to his beliefs. Many times I witnessed his response to a situation and he seldom wavered from is core beliefs. Blaine not only will be missed by his family and friends, but also by a world that desperately needs diverse resolution in its society. Goodbye Blaine, I for one shall never forget you, and the good things, and the happiness that you did for me and brought into my life.
