It’s back again ~ the BosseHigh School Class of ’62 Reunion
. This time around we celebrated 45 years (yes, I said 45 years) since we passed through the hallowed halls of the finest school in
Indiana! Your Reunion Committee has a memorable weekend planned for you. As you know, our Reunion has always taken place in the summer. But this year, we decided to move it to cooler temperatures and closer to the Westside Nut Club Fall Festival ~ the 2nd largest street festival in the U.S.!
For the golf lovers in our class, Friday, September 28th was aa golf outing at 11 a.m. at Oak Meadow Country Club. Later in the day, we had an informal evening get-together at 6:30 p.m. at Oak Meadow Country Club. Light snacks were served & a cash bar was available.
On Saturday, September 29th, a tour of the beautifully renovated BosseHigh School
was at 10 a.m. Something new to
Evansville, an authentic LST from World War II is docked near the old DuckIsland, home of many parties. We arranged for our classmates to get a private guided tour of the vessel at 1 p.m.
Saturday night brought us together at Oak Meadow again for an evening of dining, dancing and renewing old acquaintances. Festivities started at 6:00 p.m. and continued ‘til we decided to stop. Our meal was served buffet-style and a cash bar was available.
Oak Meadow had beautiful accommodations for anyone who wished to stay close by. Classmate, Terry Lewis, and his wife are owners of the Oak Meadow Lodge. They offered a special arrangements for Bosse ’62 grads!
