Paul Ray Doss, 60, of Newburgh, Ind., died at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, December 3, 2005, at his residence. Paul Ray Doss was born July 18, 1945, in Central City, Kentucky, to Virgil and Hester (Wheatly) Doss. Paul graduated from Bosse High School in 1963. He was employed at Lensing Wholesalers as a sales coordinator. Paul was a member of the Lions Club of Newburgh and Kapperman American Legion Post 44 of Newburgh. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved the outdoors. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Sandra (Kokos) Doss; two daughters, Lisa Sellers of Evansville and Lori White and her husband, Chris, of Newburgh, Ind.; five grandchildren, Hailey Craig, Daniel Sellers and Kayla, Colton and Carson White; and his mother-in-law, Betty (Miller) Alvey of Newburgh, Ind. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, and two sisters. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, December 6, 2005, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel, 5300 Washington Avenue, Evansville, Indiana, with Dan Hendricks officiating. Friends may call from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday, December 5, 2005, and from 9 a.m. until time of service Tuesday at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel.
