I am going to the VNA Hospice center in Evansville this morning. My body just isn't doing what I want it to and I need more help than I would want my son to do for me. I have been so blessed that he is/has been here for me. And oh my, all of you have been wonderful!!!!!!!!!!! I will be sitting and reflecting of my family and friends and the memories; and thank you for them. God has a plan for all of us and my journey has been awesome and I will be a greeter soon. Love to you all! Marsha |

Marsha Lou (McKain) Zizzo, 60, of Chandler, passed away Thursday, November 17, 2005, at VNA Hospice in Evansville. Marsha was a loving mother, daughter, sister, friend, a generous and courageous spirit putting the needs of others above her own. This was especially evident during her battle with ALS. Marsha is survived by her son, Jason Carl Zizzo; mother, Eugenia McKain; and her sister, Carla Laufer. Marsha was a hairdresser for many years and retired from Special Effects Hair Salon in Newburgh. She graduated with a wonderful class from Bosse High School in 1963, and one of her greatest pleasures was her classmates. Marsha was an active member in the Daughters of the Nile Isis Temple No. 41, where she served as Queen from 1988-1989 and Past Queen. She was also part of the Patrol. Most recently, she was given the honor of the Quiet Award as one of Unsung Heroes. The family would like to give a special thank you for the care given by the ALS Association and Visiting Nurse Association. Daughters of the Nile Isis No. 41 will conduct a memorial service 7 p.m. Monday, November 21, 2005, at Alexander Newburgh Chapel, followed by funeral services. Friends may call Monday from 3 p.m. until service time at the chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to VNA Hospice Association or ALS Association in Marsha's memory. Condolences may be made online at www.mem.com. Arrangements by Alexander Newburgh Chapel, 5333 State Road 261, Newburgh, IN 47630, (812) 853-0077.
