John Stuart Kouts, 57, of Indianapolis formerly of Evansville, died Wednesday, May 18, 2005, at St. Francis Hospital, in Indianapolis, Indiana from multisystem organ failure due to chemotherapy for acute Promyelocytic Leukemia.
He was a coin department manager for Ameritech, a member of Hope Moravian Church, and a 1964 graduate of Bosse High School.
John was preceded in death by his parents Clarence Elmer Kouts (September 12, 2000) and Florence Kouts (March 27, 1996).
Surviving are his wife, Jo Ann (Lambert) Kouts; daughters, Kristine Hasewinkle and Jennifer O'Dell; sister, Connie Fenwick; brothers, Russell, Paul and Tom; and four grandchildren.
Services were 11 a.m. Monday at Hope Moravian Church in Indianapolis, burial in the church cemetery. Visitation was 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday in Singleton Community Mortuary & Memorial Center and 10 a.m. to service time at the church.
