Wayne Mosley, 64, died November 23, 2011 surrounded in love by his family at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville.
Wayne was a 1965 graduate of Bosse High School. He worked for the Chicago Greyhound Corp, Urban League of Battle Creek, MI, and various jobs in Evansville. Wayne was a member of Zion Baptist Church where he was a gifted vocalist and a faithful, active member of the Mighty Men of Zion Choir. Wayne was an avid reader and conversationalist.
He is survived by many family and friends including his daughter, Jocelyn Johnson; sisters, Linda Mosley, Cynthia (Walter) Johnson, and Priscella Thompson (Michael); brothers, Ronald (Marcia) Mosley, Charles (Charlene) Mosley, Edward Mosley Jr, Luther Mosley, and James (Debra) Mosley; aunt, Mary Etta LaGrone; and grandchildren, Janay, Jawuan, Jalen and Jada Johnson.
Funeral Services are 11 a.m. Monday at Osborne Funeral Home. The Rev. R.V. Terry is officiating. Visitation is 9 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
