Deborah "Debby" (Crowley) Richards, 61, of Evansville, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2010, at her home.

Deborah "Debby" Richards was one of the rare angels of Earth. Loving mother, grandmother, aunt, sister and daughter, Debby cared for and put others first her entire life. She has left us on Earth, but watches over us from Heaven, where she is now joined by her mother, Bonnie Crowley. Debby was born November 20, 1948, in Evansville, which remained her home. She was a [1966] graduate of Bosse High School, married in 1966 and had two children. Debby was a free spirit who loved life and touched us all with her positive outlook. She dedicated her life to her children, grandchildren, mother, siblings, nieces and nephews in a way very few people can. Completely selfless, an inspiration to her family and everyone whose life was blessed enough to come in contact with her.

Debby passed away unexpectedly February 9th, 2010, in her home. She now watches over her daughter, Sherry Ajluni and husband, Rick; her son, Bryan Richards; her father, Norman Crowley; her sister, Vicky Bates and husband, Barry; her brother, Gary Crowley; three grandchildren, Brandon, Brett and Ryan Schiff; nieces, April (and fiance, Jeremy) and Jessica; great-nieces and nephews, Kenny, Lindsay, Lacey, Ethan, Eli and Zayden; and life-long friend, Joel "Taco" Crider. Debby's mother, Bonnie Crowley, suffered a stroke on February 10th, 2010, and passed away February 13th, 2010. Forever together they will be in peace.

Joint funeral services for Deborah and her mother, Bonnie Crowley, will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, February 15, 2010, at Boone Funeral Home, East Chapel, 5330 Washington Avenue, Evansville, with the Reverend Dr. Dennis Davenport officiating. Burial will be private. Friends may call from 3 p.m. until time of service at 7 p.m. Monday, February 15, 2010, at Boone Funeral Home, East Chapel.

Memorial contributions may be made to PAAWS Inc.-No Kill Animal Rescue and Shelter, P.O. Box 115, Newburgh, IN 47629.

I was so sorry to hear this sad news. We were good friends in high school but we grew apart with time and distance. She was a special person.
