Delores Jean (Scarbrough) Lutz, 60, of Evanville, passed away peacefully Tuesday, September 16, 2008, at her residence.
Delores was born January 19, 1948, in Evansville, Indiana. She was a graduate of Bosse High School and had attended Vann Avenue Baptist Church. Delores retired from Faultless Caster, where she had worked in production. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Delores will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her mother, Betty Scarbrough of Evansville; three daughters, Cathy Duke and her husband, Allen, of Owensboro, Ky., Pam Waddell and Ty Shelby of Evansville, and Carrie Lutz of Evansville; one son, Roy Lutz and his wife, Sarah, of Livermore, Ky.; 13 grandchildren, Timothy and Amanda Duke, Jonathan, Jordon, Jaylan and William Lutz, Rebecca Daughtery, David Lutz, Tony Bray, Kai Williams, Shakera Hall and Keegan and Cali Owens; one brother, Johnny Scarbrough of Evansville; ex-husband, Jackie Lutz of Island, Ky.; four nieces, Nathalie Ellison, Stacy Sailer, Amy Scarbrough and Maria Schmitt; and a nephew, Steven Scarbrough.
She was preceded in death by her father, John Scarbrough, and a brother, Steve Scarbrough.
Visitation will be held 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, September 21, 2008, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel, 5330 Washington Avenue, Evansville, Indiana. Burial will be private.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a favorite charity.
