Sonjia Kay (Thomas) Mills, age 59, of Forest Park, Ohio, passed away Monday, July 16, 2007, after a year and a half battle with kidney cancer.

Sonjia was born Feb. 21, 1948, and is a graduate of Bosse High School, Class of 1966.

Sonjia is survived by her husband of 35 years, Steven Mills (Bosse, '68) and daughters, Julie Kay (35) and Mary Elizabeth (19); mother, Mabel Thomas; sister, Sue Darnell and husband, Don; sister, Betsy Burns; brother, Carl Coker and wife, Mary Ellen; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be 1 p.m. Monday, July 23, 2007, at Alexander East Chapel, officiated by Brother Garry Lanham, with entombment at Park Lawn Mausoleum.

Friends may visit Sunday, from 2 to 8 p.m., and Monday, from 10 a.m. until service time, at the funeral home.
