Michael "Mike" E. Reininga, 58, of Evansville passed away at home surrounded by his family.
Mike was a 1971 graduate of Bosse High School and served 6 years in the United States Navy. He worked as a communications technician for L&N and CSX railroad in Evansville and as a communications supervisor in Jacksonville, FL. Most recently he worked as a slot machine technician at Casino Aztar. Mike was a first class licensed Hamm Radio Operator.
He was preceded in death by his father Elmer H. Reininga.
Mike is survived by his wife Linda R. Reininga of Evansville; step son Nathanael Scheu of Atlantic Beach, FL; mother Albion Burch; brother Gerald Reininga; step brother Rick Besing all of Evansville.
There will be no visitation or services at Ziemer Funeral Home.

Mike could build and do just about anything. His sense of humor and his love of music was freely shared with us all. We will miss Mike but will cherish his memory.
