Christopher Ray Hufnagel, 56, left this world on August 24, 2009. Born on February 3, 1953, he was the first son of Raymond and Janet Baker Hufnagel. He attended Holy Spirit Catholic Church and School and graduated from Bosse High School in 1972. Following Graduation, he traveled the country until settling in Florida for several years before his return to Evansville in 1989 where he resided until his death. Chris inherited his father's love for collecting model trains and enjoyed the hobby throughout his life. At his request, his collection will be donated to the Evansville Museum of Arts, History, and Science. He was preceded in death by his parents, his twin sister Cynthia Morris and his niece, Katherine Loraine Libs. Chris was truly a beloved man. All he touched remember him for his continuous acts of kindness and charity. He is survived by loving family, sisters and brothers-in-law Laura Libs, Linda Greer, Janet and Michael Dubber, Nancy and Glenn Thompson, Mary and Carl Schweizer and brother and sister-in-law John and Karen Hufnagel, his aunt Mary Jane Kirkwood, uncles Richard "Tom" Baker, Hillary "Bud" Hufnagel and Leo Hufnagel. Nephews and nieces Jason Libs, Melissa Libs Neidlinger, Kristina Porter, Angel Morris, Laura Leslie, Amie Schlosberg, Adam Seitz, Michael Thompson, Karla, Emily and Allison Schweizer, and grandnieces, grandnephews and cousins. The family offers a sincere thanks to Chris' dear friends, Don Smith, Andy and Cindy Pugh, Judith Norris and family, and Larry and Betty Kemper and family for the love and care they provided through the years. Friends and family are invited to gather at Ziemer Funeral Home East Chapel, 800 S.
