Deborah Gail (Carnes) Henson, 55, of Evansville, passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at Charlier Hospice.

Debbie was a 1973 graduate of Bosse High School and Ivy Tech. While raising her kids she studied accounting and worked in several offices. In her final weeks, she taught us all about patience and forgiveness.

She is preceded in death by her parents, King Solomon (April 12, 1975) and Grace (Martin) Carnes (Wednesday, August 18, 1999); sisters, Cathy Carnes (Saturday, December 27, 1997) and Pamela (Carnes) Hale [Bosse 1974].

Debbie is survived by her son, Rob and his wife Jamie Henson; grandchildren, Isaac, Noah, and Sophia Henson, all of Evansville; brother, Gary and his wife Sandy Allinder, of Evansville.

The family is grateful for the compassion and care shown by the staff at VNA Charlier Hospice.

Services will be 10:00 AM Monday, May 16, 2011 at St. Mary Catholic Church, 613 Cherry Street, Evansville, 47713. Friends may visit from 1:00 to 3:00 PM Sunday, May 15th at the church.
