William A. "Bill" Galbraith


William A. "Bill" Galbraith, 51, died Monday, Sept. 3, 2007, at his home in Providence Kentucky.

He was a member of the Silent Run Missionary Baptist Church. He was a 1974 graduate of Bosse High School in Evansville and in 1980 the New York Institute of Photography. He was employed by AutoLiv in Madisonville as a quality Lab technician, where he enjoyed working with his fellow employees and friends. Bill's hobby was photography and he had over 200 photos and stories published in various newspapers and magazines.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Evelyn Galbraith; and a brother, William Bryant.

Surviving are his wife of 32 years, Linda Barnhill Galbraith of Providence; a son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Mary (Blue) Galbraith of Slaughters, Ky.; 2 sisters and brothers-in-law, Henrietta and Dennis Sutton and Deborah and Matthew Sutton, all of Evansville, Ind.; and a brother and sister-in-law, George and Jane Galbraith of Evansville.

Memorial services 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 6, at Melton Funeral Home in Providence, Dr. Hollis Marshall will officiate, interment in White Oak Cemetery in Clay, Ky. Visitation with the family is 9 a.m. to service time on Thursday.
