Elliott A. Lockett was born in Evansville, Indiana on April 26, 1957. He died Saturday, Oct. 7, 2006, at the I.U. Medical Center in Indianapolis at the age of 49.
Elliott attended Bosse High School [Class of 1975]. After a long time job in central Indiana, he returned to Evansville in 2003, to help care for his mother.
He was preceded in death by his father, William E. Lockett.
He is survived by his mother, Melba A. Lockett; a brother, Ken; a sister, Mary and a sister Carol (Lockett) Hensley and her husband Larry.

I wish to send my sincere condolences to Elliot's family. I knew Elliott years ago. We went thru treatment together at the YES House. Later on, I had an apartment on
Bedford St.
in
Evansville
and we roomed together for a time. I'd lost track of him over the years and was truly sorry to hear of his passing. I trust that he is with Jesus in the same way that I trust Jesus myself. Once again, I am sorry for your loss.

I knew Elliott when I was a teenager he use to take me to church and spent time with me like a big brother. In a sense he saved my life more times than I can count. I will miss him greatly.
