Mark Boylls
1

Mark Boylls, 52, of Evansville, Indiana, lost his brave battle with cancer on, Monday, May 10, 2010 at his home, surrounded by his family and friends.

Mark was born January 28, 1958 in Evansville, the son of Clay and Earline (Mitchell) Boylls and was a 1976 graduate of Bosse High School. He received his BSW from the University of Southern Indiana and his Masters of Science from the University of Louisville, Kent School of Social Work. Mark realized his love for working with and helping the elderly during his many years at Southwestern Indiana Mental Health. He continued this passion at Good Samaritan Home, where he has worked since 2006. He was an avid IU and Indianapolis Colts' fan. He loved working in his yard, and spending time with family and friends. Mark was a friend of Jimmy K. and has had an incredible amount of support from this "family" prior to and during his illness.

Mark is survived by his beloved wife of 20 years, Pam (Romain) Boylls; daughter, Katie Jean Boylls; son, Clay Robert Boylls; brother, Dewey Boylls (Earleen); sister, Cynthia Hudson (Roger); mother-in-law, Betty Romain; brothers- and sisters-in-law, Linda Harris (Daryel), Gloria Millay (Steve), Bob Romain (Linda), and Ron Romain (Connie); and numerous nieces and nephews, all who have been a tremendous support during this trying time.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Earline and father, Clay Dewey Boylls and his father-in-law, Robert Romain.

There are far too many individuals to thank for what they have done for Mark and his family, but you must certainly know who you are and we love you dearly for your help and support. The family would like to thank Mark's former co-workers at Southwestern Indiana Mental Health and his current co-workers at Good Samaritan Home and to offer a special thank you to his "extended" family of Jimmy K., the staff of Deaconess Hospice, and to Dr. Ahmed and staff.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 am, Thursday, May 13, 2010 at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel - 5330 Washington Avenue, Evansville with Reverend Joe Easley officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.

Friends may call from 2 pm until 7 pm, Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at Boone Funeral Home - East Chapel.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to The Mark Boylls Cancer Fund at any Old National bank location and/or Friends of 318 at PO Box 6584, Evansville, IN 47719.
