Julie A. (Embry) Runge, 49, of Newburgh, died Saturday, July 7, 2007, at Deaconess Hospice. She was born March 21, 1958, in Evansville. Julie attended Zion United Church of Christ in Newburgh. She was a 1976 graduate of Bosse High School. Julie worked at St. Mary's Breast Center for eight years and in Dr. McKinney and Dr. Harvey's office for three years. She enjoyed yearly summer vacations with friends at Barkley Lake. She was preceded in death by son, Kevin McCord, and mother-in-law, Sue Edwards. Julie is survived by her husband of 25 years, Mike Runge, of Newburgh; daughter, Angie McCord (Carlos Baltzell), of Evansville; son, John Runge, of Evansville; daughters, Casey Strouse and husband, Brandon, and Sarah Runge, all of Newburgh; parents, Bobbie and Wanda Embry; sister, Sherri Plunkett and husband, Randy, of Daylight; brothers, Bobbie Embry Jr. and wife, Debbie, of Baskett, Ky. and Eddie Embry and wife, Sylvia, of Evansville; six grandchildren, Jana, Diante, Cameron, Carlos Jr., Brandon Michael and Calia, and several nieces and nephews. Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 10, 2007, at Alexander East Chapel, officiated by the Rev. Dan Kennedy, with burial at Alexander Park Lawn Cemetery. Friends may visit Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Alexander East Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association, 2207 E.
