Gregory Eric Skinner, 46, of Jersey City, N.J., formerly of Evansville, passed away Friday, May 1, 2009, at his home. He was born February 20, 1963, in Evansville.

Greg graduated from Bosse High School in 1981, where he was a member of the marching band.

Greg was a member of East Side Christian Church in Evansville before relocating to New Jersey, where he became a member of Park Avenue Christian Church.

Greg was preceded in death by his father, Leroy Skinner.

He is survived by his mother, Trilla Elaine Skinner; brothers, Dennis Skinner, Kent Skinner and wife, Marye Pat, and Tim Skinner and wife, Michelle; sister, Elaine Angermeier; four nieces, four nephews; and one great-nephew.

Services will be 10 a.m. Friday, May 8, 2009, at Alexander East Chapel, officiated by Dr. Linda Parker and Rev. Travis Hacker. Friends may visit Thursday from 3 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
